Sensei
This is a Japanese word which means “teacher”. The symbols which make up the word can roughly translate into, “one who has gone before”. In Japanese, titles come after the proper name.
John Moore Sensei
Moore sensei grew up in Maine and has returned to teach martial arts after being away for nearly 20 years. He has more than three decades of martial arts study. He has trained in many systems including Arnis, Kenpo, Kyokushinkai, and Silat.
He spent more than a decade in Boston studying Ketsugo Jujutsu under Peter Freedman Sensei and was awarded a menkyo kaiden (teaching license).
Martial Arts Instruction
He has conducted self defense training for dozens of businesses and organizations, and helped Freedman Sensei train federal, local, and state law enforcement – including the 366th MP det. (the bodyguards for the secretary of defense).
